Puna Trail – Kaloli Point – Pākī Community Workday

Join us for a Community Workday at the Historic Puna Trail!

Nā Ala Hele is partnering with W.H. Shipman LTD., Townscape Inc, Division of Aquatic Resources, Makai Watch, and DOCARE to host a community workday starting at the Puna Trail and working to clean up Kaloli Point and Pākī.

What to Expect:

  • Learn about the cultural and natural resources of the area, its history, and current stewardship efforts
  • Participate in a cleanup of Kaloli Point, Pākī, and Puna Trail
  • Engage and talk story with other members of the community
  • Children welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

What to Bring:

  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sun protection
  • Closed-toe shoes (no slippers or crocs)
  • Sturdy work gloves
  • Long sleeves and pants, recommended
  • Snack and/or lunch
  • Water jug will be available for refill
