Spring Equinox Work Party- Hawaiʻi Environmental Restoration
March 22 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Hawaii Environmental Restoration‘s primary project focuses on the restoration and preservation of Keau’ohana State Forest Reserve, the largest and most intact lowland rainforest remaining below 1,000 feet in the State of Hawai’i.
Please join Keau’ohana Rainforest’s enthusiastic supporters to help restore the largest and most intact lowland forest remaining (<1,000ft) in the State of Hawai’i. Volunteers will largely be pulling invasive species and contributing to compost piles; at times volunteer efforts also include the planting of native seedlings in Keau’ohana.
