Due to security concerns, the US Space Force has temporarily closed access to the Satellite Tracking Station Road that departs Farrington Highway in Keawaʻula (Yokohama Bay) on west Oʻahu. This includes vehicular access to the Peacock Flats Campground, Kuaokalā Trail, Kuaokalā Game Management Area, and Kuaokalā Forest Reserve.

March 23, 2026 Update: Mokulēʻia Forest Reserve Access Road is also temporarily closed due to damage caused by severe weather. The Forest Reserves, GMA, and Natural Area Reserve remain open and accessible via the Keālia Trail for foot and bicycle use only.
