Area closures following storm damage

Due to heavy rainfall and wind activity, some areas managed by DLNR Forestry & Wildlife are closed. Crews are currently assessing many of our managed areas and the list of closures below may change. Areas will be opened as conditions allow. Contact your local Forestry & Wildlife office for up-to-date information. Please also contact us to alert us to damage or hazards that you observe.

Kauaʻi:

  • Mana wetlands access point

Oʻahu

  • Mokulēʻia Forest Reserve Access Road is open. Keālia Trail is closed indefinitely due to dangerous landslides and unassessed rockfall hazards

Maui:

  • Kula Forest Reserve
